The Betting Odds

This event has had four different winners in the previous four years, with no race scheduled in 2020. Unsurprisingly, the two current championship contenders are the favourites, albeit Leclerc edges out Verstappen.

Christian Horner, Red Bull Team Principal, has stated that Monaco’s narrow and twisty course with its lower speed turns should favour Ferrari. Surprisingly, the Scuderia has only won here once in the past two decades, with Sebastian Vettel triumphing in 2017. Who is the favourite to win, according to the odds?

โ€ข Charles Leclerc 2.00
โ€ข Max Verstappen 2.25
โ€ข Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez, George Russell, Lewis Hamilton 17.0
โ€ข Lando Norris, Valtteri Bottas 301
โ€ข Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso, Kevin Magnussen, Mick Schumacher 601
โ€ข Alexander Albon, Lance Stroll, Nicholas Latifi, Pierre Gasly, Yuki Tsunoda, Zhou Guanyu, Sebastian Vettel 901

Win Prediction- Ferrari will win the race

On paper, it’s difficult to bet against Max Verstappen, but the Monaco Grand Prix circuit looks to suit his opponents better this weekend. Red Bull has unrivalled straight-line speed, but Ferrari has the advantage in turns. Monaco should give plenty of opportunity for them to demonstrate their abilities.

Charles Leclerc has a dismal record in his home race, while Carlos Sainz is still recovering his confidence after a tumultuous season, but the guys in red are expected to perform well.
