Pakistani Bowling all-rounder Mohammad Wasim’s back injury update
The young Pakistani player was practicing in the ICC academy with the team when he felt lower back pain. His pain was so severe that he had to pull out of the practice session immediately. Wasim underwent an MRI scan to make sure whether he is fit to play in the very important game against India on Sunday. But the scans suggest that the bowler cant take part in the tournament. The fast bowler has worked in all three practice sessions of the Pakistani team but in the final session he picked up an injury.

The left-arm quick who rattled the Indian top order in the World T20 last year won’t be available on Sunday as he picked up a Knee injury. The man of the tournament of the ICC champions trophy 2017 is back in the side. Hasan Ali was dropped from the team after a disappointing world cup in 2021.
