The Baseball Writers’ Association of America (BBWAA) immediately submitted the voting ballots for the MLB award following the 2023 regular season.

So far, the winners of the MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year award have all been announced for the American League and National League.
2023 MLB awards date
Ahead of the announcements, the MBL announced the shortlists for all the following awards:
- AL MVP
- NL MVP
- AL Cy Young
- NL Cy Young
- AL Rookie of the Year
- NL Rookie of the Year
- AL Manager of the Year
- NL Manager of the Year
The MLB Network are set to announce the Rookie of the Year for each league by November 13. The MVP awards for the ALCS, NLCS and World Series will then be announced right after the end of each series. Ahead of all this the Gold Glove honors were announced on November 5.

MLB awards 2023 voting format
The Baseball Writers’ Association of America determines the MVP, Cy Young and Manager of the Year award winners through a voting process. The group consists of 30 voters from different local BBWAA chapters across the country. Each of these voters will submit ballots before the start of the postseason. The MLB publicly announces the ballots by November. Members of the BBWAA consist of people who actively cover baseball news for approved publications. Meanwhile, MLB managers and assistant coaches determine the winners of the Gold Glove awards.
