The 2022 Chevrolet MLB All-Star Starters Reveal event on ESPN on Friday revealed the victors of the 2022 Chevrolet All-Star Ballot Finals, completing the starting lineups for the 92nd Midsummer Classic on July 19 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The top vote-getters in each league from Phase 1 of the voting, outfielders Aaron Judge of the Yankees in the American League and Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Braves in the National League, had already clinched a berth in the starting lineup for their respective teams.

How MLB All-Star Voting Works?
The designated hitter (DH) and position players for each league’s starting lineups are chosen by fans through a two-phase voting process. The top vote-getter in each league’s first phase will now, starting in 2022, automatically earn a berth in the starting lineup. For each other non-pitching position and DH, the top two vote-getters progress to the second round of voting. In each league, there are six contenders for each of the three outfield spots, unless an outfielder received the most votes, in which case there are four finalists for the other two outfield spots. Between phases, voting is not carried over.
Voting took place in two phases: the first from June 8 to June 30 and the second from July 5 to July 8. Every vote is cast online at MLB.com or through the MLB app. The voting-based list of starting players was released on July 8. On July 10, the Commissioner’s Office will release the reserve position players and all pitchers, who were chosen through Player Ballot choices and selections made by the Commissioner’s Office. The final roster size for each team will be 23 players.
On July 8, Major League Baseball confirmed that 33rd player for each league, Albert Pujols and Miguel Cabrera, had been added to the rosters. They will be honored for their accomplishments over the past 20 years.

The 92nd Major League Baseball All-Star Game, to be played between the American League (AL) and National League (NL) of Major League Baseball, is scheduled for 2022. (MLB). The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the game at Dodger Stadium. The match will take place on July 19, 2022, and Fox will broadcast it nationally.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 MLB All-Star Game due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the Los Angeles Dodgers were given the 2022 MLB All-Star Game.
