He signed for CompLexity Gaming, which Cloud9 eventually acquired in 2014. The pro wowed the community of computer gamers with his outstanding performances at the top level, and in 2016 he assisted in taking home the ESL Pro League Season 4 championship.
He departed Cloud9 in April 2018 to focus solely on his broadcasting career and announced his official retirement from competitive CS: GO.

He achieved new heights on Twitch as a Livestream and is now the 7th most followed artist there. Shroud exceeded the milestone of 100,000 subscribers in 2019 on March 11, reaching a staggering 114,000.
When he signed an unreported contract with Microsoft’s streaming service, Mixer, which had also stolen Ninja from the Amazon-owned company, his streaming career suffered. Even though Shroud paid a significant amount of money, the move cost them many followers. It was time for the FPS king to “return home” after Mixer shut up in June 2020.
