The United States women football player has on a slew of occasions emerged in the limelight with her claiming to be the bagpiper of a string of issues. She’s often spoken about how there is a need for equal pay in the world of football when it comes to the men and women side of the game, an issue which has divided opinion.
While it may sound extremely hunky dory to throw your weight behind equal pay, the harsh reality is that the women’s side of the game generates a scanty revenue as opposed to the men’s facet. The pay gap is the same as it is in any women dominated industry.
