At the outset of the episode, we review the events of the previous season’s finale, which included Mash’s confrontation with Abel and the whole Cell War. According to the narrator, word has it that Mash’s magical abilities have been dwindling for some time.
In front of that individual, Finn, Lemon, and Dot inform him that the tales about Mash’s magical abilities are unfounded. Finn tries his best to shield Mash from the increasing number of pupils who are approaching him about the rumor.
At a later gathering to commemorate their victory over Lang Dorm, Finn was taken aback to discover two unanticipated visitors—Abel and Abyss. After that, he approaches Lance and asks him what he was up to. Lance explains that he got into a fight with someone from Lang Row and ended up running into the convicts of Deathrow.
Abyss tells Mash that a criminal named Innocent Zero, hailing from the Magic realm, was pursuing him and that Innocent Zero had bestowed his talents upon Mash. He warns Mash to be vigilant and mentions that Abel had a similar scheme with Innocent Zero’s power to steal money from him.
Following their conversation, the students start congregating and hiding in Mash’s room, eager to uncover the truth about the allegations. One of them was looking for definitive evidence that Mash possessed magical abilities.
