After four years, Marvel Spider-Man Remastered will finally be made accessible on PC in August, know the release date and system requirements
On Wednesday, Spider-Man Remastered received a new trailer from PlayStation and its creator, Insomniac Games, teasing what players might expect.
Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man, a PS4-only release, was first made available in 2014.
Marvel Spider-Man Remastered PC Game System Requirements, Release Date
These PC versions of the game were produced by Nixxes Software and Insomniac Games, both of PlayStation Studios, and will be available on August 12.
The Spider-Man Remastered game has been created to be a visual marvel on the PC platform. It allows PC users with different hardware configurations flexibility and offers some new tools and techniques to push things further.
Looking at the minimum requirements, Spider-Man won’t require a particularly powerful desktop, though some users might find the 8GB of RAM & 75GB of storage to be limiting.
The Intel Core i3 series is not at all demanding, and the Nvidia GTX 950 GPU is now several years old, so it is not very demanding elsewhere.
Minimum requirements (720p at 30FPS)
Operating System | Windows 10 64-bit |
Processor (Intel) | Intel Core i3-4160 |
Processor (AMD) | AMD equivalent |
Graphics (Nvidia) | Nvidia GTX 950 |
Graphics (AMD) | AMD Radeon RX 470 |
RAM | 8GB |
Storage | 75GB |
We anticipate that anyone who recently bought a new desktop PC, particularly one for gaming, won’t have trouble fulfilling these specifications. The main problem you can run into is storage, but happily, that can be fixed with a new SSD, which can be relatively inexpensive.
Moving on to the suggested specifications, the 16GB of RAM—the same amount of memory required to play Elden Ring—is the main drawback. Since 16GB is twice as much memory as the majority of computers have, you might need to buy a new RAM module for your machine.
However, if you do need to upgrade, you won’t need to spend a fortune because the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and Intel Core i5 both launched some number of years ago.

Both GPU alternatives were released several years ago and they can be purchased for less than £250 on websites like Amazon. It’s vital to keep in mind that these specifications are just for Full HD gaming.
It will take an expensive system to get Spider-Man swinging at 4K with ray tracing enabled, but it’s still a nice option to have for anyone who wants to play Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered in all its splendour.
