Speaking of first leg, Manchester United Legends fell 3-1 to Liverpool Legends. The game was played at Old Trafford in May that contributed to raising £1.3 million for the Manchester United Foundation. Luis Garcia scored a goal and Mark Gonzale gave two goals to the Liverpool legends to ensure a 3-1 win for Merseysiders. Dimitar Berbatov was the only goal scorer for United Legends.
