Manchester United fan and Stretford Paddock aka FullTimeDEVILS channel regular Abdullah passes away
Distressing news has come in of Manchester United fan and a regular on Stretford Paddock, Abdullah having passed away with the channel confirming the same on Twitter/X. Abdullah who was a Muslim by religion was part of the channel since Full Time Devils before it rebranded. The cause of his death hasn’t been revealed yet.
Coming back to the club’s latest news, according to Ruben Amorim, he feels uneasy when Manchester United supporters scream his name and want them to cheer for the players rather than the coach.
Since the Portuguese head coach’s first game in charge against Ipswich Town, United fans have been singing “Ruben Amorim” to the song “Give It Up” by KC and the Sunshine Band. During Sunday’s 4-0 victory over Everton, the song was audible throughout Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, has voiced his displeasure with the song that the team’s supporters have directed at him and asked them to focus their fervour on the players instead.
Everyone at Stretford Paddock is heartbroken at the news Abdullah has passed away.
A part of the channel since Full Time Devils, one of the kindest and most passionate souls you could wish to meet.

After an undefeated start to his term, which included back-to-back home wins against Bodo/Glimt and Everton, the Portuguese manager has swiftly won over the Old Trafford supporters. Amorim is not fond of the song that supporters have written for him, which is sung to the tune of the 1980s hit song Baby Give It Up by KC and The Sunshine Band, despite the increasing positive sentiment surrounding his leadership.
Amorim gave an explanation of his motivations during a press conference held prior to United’s difficult journey to Arsenal on Wednesday.
“I don’t like my chant. I don’t like it,” Amorim admitted. “I feel a little bit… not embarrassed but because I’m the coach. They have to chant for the players and for the club, so it’s not a good thing for me. I understand and I really appreciate the connection with the supporters, but I want them to support the team and the players, because they are on the pitch,” he further added.
Abdullah. My brother.
You were one of the first people in Manchester who showed me what "Manchester Hospitality" felt like.
I wanted to repay that love to you when you visited NY. We sat by the river at Pier 5, seeing your face light up as you dreamed of someday living here.… pic.twitter.com/SRdL08Gopu

About Ruben Amorim
The 38-year-old manager, who is considered by many to be among the best young coaches in European football, has been given the responsibility of bringing Manchester United back to life after Erik ten Hag left. On Wednesday, his club will go to play an Arsenal team that is playing well, which will be a big challenge.
Amorim acknowledged the difficulty and urged his team to have the guts to stop Arsenal’s winning streak of three straight high-scoring victories.
