Unable to digest their team getting routed by Manchester City in the Champions League, Club Brugge supporters decided to resort to violence.
Perplexed by their team’s sorry performance on the day, the side’s fans ended up brutally acting a Manchester City fan. The attack which took place near Drongen occurred when Guido DP, the fan in question was travelling in his car. He had parked his car at a service station which upon being spotted by battered by the home supporters who trounced the 63 year old victim.

Guido had travelled for the contest with his son as a part of the Belgium Blue Moon supporters club. He is said to have been rendered senseless by the violence unleashed on him which is said to have been carried out by the Brugge fans after seeing Guido adorning a Manchester City scarf.
The fan is currently battling for his life in the intensive care unit at the AZ Maria Middelares hospital after being persistently hit on the head. As per latest reports, his health is extremely critical with a long road to recovery awaiting the victim.
Manchester City had schooled Brugge 5-1 on the night as they made a mockery of their Belgian opponents. While the hosts did manage to open their account in the second half, the goal was redundant with them failing to even offer as much as a fight infront of a way superior City outfit in the Champions League.
