Many of the top shuttlers including Spanish ace Carolina Marin will compete in the 2023 BWF Spain Masters, which is slated to run from March 28 to April 2 at Madrid’s Centro Deportivo Municipal Gallur. In addition, this challenge will include a $210,000 net prize.

2023 Spain Masters singles schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw
PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal, both Olympic medalists, will head India’s campaign in the Madrid Spain Masters 2023 badminton competition, which gets underway on Tuesday. In the women’s singles, Sindhu is seeded second, behind local favorite & Rio 2016 champion Carolina Marin. To begin her title quest at the Spain Masters, Sindhu will face-off against one of the qualifier match winners.
Meanwhile, 2012 Olympic medalist Saina Nehwal will begin her campaign with atough clash against Thailand’s third-seeded Busanan Ongbamrungphan. Elsewhere, Parupalli Kashyap will begin his men’s singles campaign in the preliminary round. In men’s singles, Kidambi Srikanth is seeded fifth and hence he will face Thailand’s Sitthikom Thammasin in the first-round.

2023 Spain Masters: BWF points award system
According to BWF, the winner of each Spain Masters category will receive 7,000 BWF points, while the runner-up will receive around 5,950 points. Meanwhile, the loser of each semifinal match would receive 4,900 points under the BWF Points System.

2023 Spain Masters: prize money distribution
Because Spain Masters is a renowned BWF Super 300 event, each singles category winner will get $15,750 from the $210,000 total prize fund. While the losers of the semifinals will only receive $3,045, the singles runner-up will receive $7,500.
