Injury of Luis Diaz & Diogo Jota And Expected Return Date

Diaz, who sustained his injury during a 3-2 loss to Arsenal in October, is anticipated to be sidelined until March as a result of his delay in recuperation. The inclusion of him in the Liverpool team for their training camp in Dubai had given Liverpool fans hope after his two-month absence. But after Klopp disclosed that he had an incident in training, he was sent home early. Diaz’s recovery period will now likely be five months long due to surgery to address a lateral collateral ligament problem.

At the Etihad Stadium versus Man City, Jota injured his calf and owing to the severity of his injury, he was ruled out of Portugal’s World Cup Squad. Later, Jota participated in the Dubai training camp, and Liverpool’s Pep Lijnders provided an update on Jota’s health. In his update, Lijnders revealed that Jota’s recovery is going well and he is anticipated to be sidelined until the end of January or the beginning of February.
