The South Korean television show Lovely Runner stars Kim Hye-yoon and Byeon Woo-seok. It is based on an online book called Tomorrow’s Best, which illustrator Doong Doong serialised as a webtoon. Kim Hyung-gu plays a swimming club member at Jagam High School.
The release date of Lovely Runner episode 9 was disclosed via a TV promo from TVN’s Instagram page. On Monday, May 6 at 8:50 p.m. KST, the new episode 9 will air on TVN (7:50 a.m. ET/4:50 a.m. ET). A day later, on Tuesday, May 7 at 8:50 p.m. KST on TVN, episode 10 will premiere.

After a long-awaited kiss between Im-sol and Sun-jae as they confess their emotions for one another in Episode 8, Lovely Runner episode 9 will be marking the midway to season 1.
That happiness is short lived, as word of Sun-jae’s attack at a hotel breaks, causing Im-sol to travel back in time and discover exactly who was responsible for the attack. This dramatic action creates a major cliffhanger for Lovely Runner Episode 8 as viewers look forward to the remainder of the season.
With only half of the season left, it’s hard to predict where the plot will go from here but the main characters’ strong affections for one another mean that this romantic relationship isn’t going anywhere.
