It is known that a magnificent Legends Charity Match will be presented to the fans on March 25 thanks to a partnership between Celtic FC Foundation and LFC Foundation. The Celtic Legends will take on Liverpool Legends at Anfield for the first time ever and it will be an epic moment as these two clubs are connected through their managers and players.

Soon, Liverpool will play host to Scottish heavyweights Celtic FC in a legends’ match between two of the biggest clubs in the world. Both sides have a long and illustrious history in football and have been fortunate to have some of the finest players to ever play the game. While Celtic had players like Bily McNeill and Henrik Larsson, Liverpool had players like Steven Gerrard, Kenny Dalglish, & Mohamed Salah. Fans will be eager to watch some legendary names take Centre stage and don the club’s jerseys once more.
Despite having played for both teams, Dalglish will serve as manager of Liverpool, where he really established himself. Paul Lambert, who is currently in charge of Ipswich Town, will serve as the manager of Celtic legends.

The cost of admission to the charity game is £27 for adults, £7 for children, and £17 for those over 65. 100% of the money donated from the game will go towards the LFC Foundations and its partner charities’ programme for schools, inclusive sports, social action, health and wellbeing, & food insecurity. At Anfield, Liverpool Legends vs Celtic Legends will be played on March 25, 2023, with kickoff scheduled for 3 PM.
