An unidentified woman repeatedly pleaded for help in the call, which was acquired by TMZ Sports, after an apparent incident with the celebrity boxer at a Parkland, Florida, residence at around 1:25 PM. The woman could not contain herself and repeatedly screamed for help as the operator tried to learn more about what was happening.

She pleaded for assistance during the call. “My goal is to return home. He attacked me in front of the child while I was driving with my infant in the car. And now my tyres are being damaged by him!” A short while later, she is heard pleading, “Help me, please! He will murder me!” Luckily, she was able to phone back after the line was dropped, informing the operator this time that she needed to get home because she was in danger.

A lady can also be heard calling 911 to ask for help for the purported victim, adding in the call that the woman had allegedly claimed Davis had spit at her. Police claim that Davis slapped the woman in the face during the encounter, leaving a minor abrasion on the inside of her upper lip.

11 days before the Hector Luis Garcia fight, Davis was arrested for domestic violence.

Popular boxer Gervonta Davis had been detained in Florida only days before his match with Hector Luis Garcia. The 28-year-old was arrested in Broward County on Tuesday around 2.50 PM on suspicion of battery in a domestic violence incident, according to jail records. He was in police custody till early Wednesday morning but was released on Wednesday afternoon.

In just 10 days, 28-year-old Davis will square off in Washington, D.C., against Hector Luis Garcia. After the arrest, it’s uncertain if the fight will still go as scheduled. Davis, who is 27-0 in professional fights, has a history of running into trouble. In fact, he was arrested in 2020 after being accused of abusing his ex-girlfriend at a celebrity basketball tournament in Florida.
