Hamilton said he is quite proud of his surname, Hamilton. However, his mother’s name is Larbalestier, and he is ready to incorporate it into his own. He explained that he is not sure how he feels about the concept when individuals marry, the lady loses her name. He absolutely wants his mother’s name to stay with the Hamilton.

Infront of a throng at the 2022 Dubai Expo, the seven-time Drivers’ Champion revealed why he did so. Hamilton also expressed his desire to win a record-equalling eighth world title, saying that it would mean the world to his family.
Hamilton’s parents divorced while he was a child, and his mother eventually remarried and adopted her second husband’s surname, Lockhart, according to ESPN. The 37-year-old Mercedes F1 driver, however, did not divulge his complete name or when the transition will occur. When asked when the shift may occur, Lewis said that he, too, is unsure. Although it is possible that it may happen this weekend, the crew has been working on it.
