“LeBron was no help,” old tweet of Angel Reese mocking LeBron James goes viral on Twitter

After LeBron James praised Angel Reese on Twitter, fans discovered that she was criticising him back in 2021

When her team defeated Iowa in the national championship game on Sunday, LSU’s standout forward Angel Reese ascended to the pinnacle of women’s collegiate basketball, but it wasn’t without controversy. In the waning seconds of the game, Reese repeatedly made fun of Hawkeyes guard Caitlin Clark, and some fans weren’t happy about it.

LeBron James and other well-known athletes defended Reese. “Angel Reese to all the haters after winning the national championship,” said a quote-tweet from the four-time NBA champion. To which Reese responded:

But it wasn’t smooth from Reese’s side.

Then, in a shocking turn of events, followers discovered a tweet from 2021 in which Reese was seen criticising LeBron. The message was sent immediately following the Lakers’ first-round NBA Playoff loss to the Phoenix Suns. Before Anthony Davis’ injury, the Lakers had a 2-1 lead, but the Suns went on to win the series in six games.

James averaged 23.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game while shooting 47.4 per cent from the field during that series.

Reece claims LSU will not visit the White House.

Regarding Angel Reese, she has moved from a dispute with First Lady Jill Biden to another controversy involving giving Caitlyn Clark the “you can’t see me” gesture. Reese and her teammates have decided not to visit the White House in response to first lady Jill Biden’s comments. LSU won their first-ever national championship on Sunday by defeating Iowa. Despite the fact the US national champions are expected to meet with the president, Biden said on Monday that she would be thrilled if Iowa joined LSU.

It was unclear how serious Biden’s comments were, and her spokesperson later appeared to back them up. Reese and her associates, however, have stated unequivocally that they do not wish to go to the White House at this time. She continued by saying that she did not accept her apology because she had already spoken what she meant to say. The LSU team would rather go see the Obamas instead. LSU Tigers defeated Lowa on Sunday, winning 102-85.
