Lando Norris showed that he isn’t behind Daniel Ricciardo when it comes to pulling pranks with his quirky autograph on Max Verstappen merchandise
Amongst the bruhaha of the crash between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton at the Italian Grand Prix, the one-two of Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo managed to make heads turn. The two drivers combined to make the most of the feud between Hamilton and Verstappen with them taking the top two positions at Monza.
Despite being capable of snapping at his counterpart’s heels, Norris decided to hold back and allow Daniel to take pole. It was down to the horrendous crash he had witnessed between Verstappen and Hamilton as the Red Bull man aspired to overtake the Brit.
“I got a bit closer on one lap, and I don’t know why, but I had a few flashes of seeing the incident between Max and Lewis because I saw it quite well in my mirrors,” Lando said when asked about why he had refrained from trying to overtake Daniel at the Italian GP.
Lando Norris Leaves A Hilarious Max Verstappen Themed Message At The Italian Grand Prix
Jubilant after taking P2 at the bygone GP, Norris decided to show why he’s not behind his compatriot, Ricciardo when it comes to pulling off pranks. The McLaren man left his autograph on a Max Verstappen fan merchandise with him signing the helmet with “Max Sucks”.
The message was akin to the one Daniel Ricciardo had left after his and Verstappen’s crash at Baku in 2018. Daniel and Max were signing posters where Ricciardo had signed: “Max’s fault he’s a d*ck!” as Verstappen replied by signing “Daniel’s fault!”
Only @LandoNorris would do this! 😂😂#F1 #LN4 #ItalianGP #MonzaGP
