However, come RR’s showdown with Royal Challengers Bangalore and Parag delivered a man of the match performance for his side. Finally unlocking his true potential, he first went onto smash a half-century to pull Rajasthan out of the quagmire the side found itself in before impressing on the field with crucial catches.
However, Riyan took centrestage not only for his all-round display on the night. He was involved in a brawl with Harshal Patel as well with the two locking heads at the end of RR’s innings before once again going head on in the aftermath of the clash when Harshal refused to shake Parag’s hand.
And the moment wasn’t taken to kindly by ardent RCB fans who ripped into the Rajasthan player on social media platfoms. Parag’s Instagam account was fraught with hate filled comments from RCB fans who left no stone unturned in sending down the filthiest of abuse his way for his spat with Harshal.
Sad times when the sport takes over people’s life who lose all semblance about them to berate a player with unabated vile abuse.
