Another Horrifying incident of game violence occurred this time in Pakistan. A teenager killed his own family members under game stress in hope that they will be resurrect again just like it happens in the game. The incidents of game violence have become a alarm for all that such kind of violent games should be put on an immediate ban, they have a negative impact on the mind and growth of children and it is deadly as well

Children specially lack intelligence to understand the real and the virtual world they are not able to differentiate between the two and start considering game as their real world and that’s where the problem begins.

Will The PUBG Mobile Game Face A Ban In Pakistan Now?

The local police has decided to recommend to the provincial and federal government to ban this game considering the ill-impact of these games on the mental state of children. There have been a rising amount of cases in game violence and the authorities demand a strict action for the same.

“It is necessary to ban the game to prevent violent acts,” a Punjab police spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said that investigation into all aspects of the incident was ongoing and the accused would be punished after fulfilling the requirements of law and justice. There is no update on if the country will indeed ban the ban or not.

Countries which have already banned PUBG

India : The Government of India last year banned many Chinese apps, including PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Elite over security measures and many of the Chinese apps are still banned in India.

Nepal : Another country that imposed a ban on the Chinese game (PUBG) is Nepal, the country asked (Nepal Telecommunications Authority) to ban the game on ISP and Mobile network level. The ban was however reversed by several petitions challenged by citizens of Nepal that it is absolutely legal to play the game as per the constitution.

Jordan : In 2019, Jordan also banned the game as a measure to reduce violence and bullying, the game was promoting violence and bullying so it was officially banned.

Bangladesh : Recently, the Bangladeshi court also banned the destructive online gaming apps like: PUBG, Free Fire in order to reduce the negative impact on teenagers.

China : It is a shocking thing that being a stake of Tencent Company, the Chinese have banned the global version of PUBG due to safety measures as the game is promoting violence. The citizens of China have their own version of the game called “Game of Peace”.
