Following their consistent performances, Maharashtra have stayed at the top of the Khelo India Youth Games medal tally with total of 83 medals including 28 gold medals. Meanwhile, Haryana are sitting second with hosts Madhya Pradesh close behind in third-place.

Athletes from Madhya Pradesh gained three medals to their collection, bringing their total to 56 medals, comprising 23 gold, 13 silver, & 20 bronze. MP shooters fell short of expectations because they didn’t receive any medals on the final shooting day. The two-day water slalom competition was underway in Maheshwar at the same time, and the hosts, MP, took home both gold medals. Vijay Prajapati of Madhya Pradesh won the bronze medal in weightlifting after lifting a total of 214 kg, including 95 kg in the snatch & 119 kg in the clean and jerk.
There were six thrilling matches played in Indore’s Abhay Prashal, on the second day of the Kabaddi competition at the Khelo India Youth Games. In the Girls’ division, Maharashtra, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, & Bihar won their matches, while Haryana & Rajasthan triumphed in the Boys’ division. During the first game of the Girls’ division, Haryana defeated Madhya Pradesh 55-22 to win their second consecutive match.
