Thanks to their golden Sunday, Maharashtra climbed to the top of the 2022 Khelo India Youth Games’ medal tally and overtook Haryana to take first place with 26 gold medals. Meanwhile, Haryana sit in second place with 22 gold medals.

2022 Khelo India Youth Games day 7 results, winners, day 8 Schedule, venue. medal matches, & other details
On day seven of the Khelo India Youth Games 2022, two more national youth records were broken. Incidentally, both of these feats were achieved at the Tatya Tope Stadium in Bhopal, where the track & field competitions are being held. With three gold medals, qualification for the Girls’ football semifinal, & two easy victories in hockey, the hosts Madhya Pradesh enjoyed a fine Sunday. In hockey, Madhya Pradesh Boys’ team thrashed Jharkhand 5-1 while the Girls’ team won 5-0 against Odisha.
In the Girls 2000-meter steeplechase, Delhi’s Sonam set a new record with a timing of 6:45:71 minutes. Later, in the Boys Shot put final, Rajasthan’s Siddharth Choudhary threw the iron ball 21.04 meters to set a new national youth record. Shooter Mukesh won the gold medal in the 10m pistol shooting competition, and Thirumuru Ganesh Mani Ratnam won the silver medal in the Under-18 boys compound individual archery division.
