After a tussle at the top of Khelo India Youth Games, defending champions Maharashtra snatched the top-spot from hosts Haryana. At the end of day four, Maharashtra have won 67 medals including 24 gold medals, which is just one gold medal higher than Haryana in second place.
However, Haryana went onto take back top spot come the end of day 5.

2022 Khelo India Youth Games Schedule, Venue, Participating Teams, And Day 5 Winners
Sanyukta, 16, earned five gold medals in the all-round, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon categories at the Ambala rhythmic gymnastics competition on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, the Haryana boys’ kabaddi team fell in extra time against Himachal Pradesh after both teams were locked at 34 points after regulation time in the final.
Darshan Pujari of Maharashtra won the boys’ badminton singles event with a 21-15, 22-20 victory over S Rithvik Sanjeevi of Tamil Nadu. Arjun Waskale of Madhya Pradesh won gold in the boys’ 1500m event, while Ritesh Ohre of Madhya Pradesh took silver. Nirbhay Choudhary of Delhi won gold in the boys’ hammer throw event at the Khelo India Youth Games, while Vinit of Haryana took silver. Haryana’s Prateek won the bronze medal.
2022 Khelo India Youth Games Latest Results, Standings, And Medal Table
On Day 5, Maharashtra overtook Haryana in the medals tally of the Fourth Khelo India Youth Games, thanks to gymnast Sanyukta Kale’s five medal haul. Maharashtra have won a total of 67 medals including 24 gold, 24 silver, and 19 bronze. They drove Haryana to second place in the Games, which are being held in Panchkula and four other venues. Haryana sit second with a collection of 73 medals, including 23 golds, 21 silvers, and 29 bronze medals.
