2022 Khelo India Final Day Results, Winners, Participating Teams, And Day 10 Winners
On Monday, 13th June, the much-anticipated Khelo India Youth Games-2022 concluded in Panchkula, with a total of 903 medals earned across various sports. Because it could not be held last year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the multi-sport event was renamed Khelo India Youth Games 2021.
Between June 4 and June 13, the fourth edition of the KIUG was held in Haryana and Delhi, with almost 8,500 players, coaches, and support staff from throughout the country taking part. A total of 903 medals were awarded, with 269 gold, 273 silver, and 361 bronze going to players from all over India.
Maharashtra started the day on a bright note, reclaiming the mallakhamb Boy’s Individual Pole gold, which had been held back after a protest on Sunday. Their kho-kho boys and girls claimed both gold medals, putting them in first place on the medals table. Haryana’s girls won gold in handball, narrowly defeating Himachal Pradesh 29-28, to keep the pressure on them.
When the action switched to the boxing ring, though, it proved to be a boon for Haryana. Six of their eight pugilists won gold in the girls’ category, while four of their five males danced their way to the top of the podium in the boys’ category.
