The 33-year-old Brooklyn Nets star has been known to utilise fake Twitter identities to defend himself in the past, and no one would be surprised if he did so again this week to defend his legacy. The player recently notably dissed former basketball player Charles Barkley through his official Instagram account because Charles called him not the best player at the Golden State Warriors.

When KD and the Nets were dusted off by the Celtics earlier this week with an ugly 4-0 score, fans explored the internet to see if there was a burner account out there and it seems they have actually found it on Twitter.

Following the loss in Game 4, a tweet from the account “Kevinfan7” led many to believe it was Kevin Durant himself. “There was nothing KD could do. “He was out there playing 1v5,” the account stated. Fans quickly determined “kevinfan7” was the Nets’ star himself and it is something very funny to know about.

Brooklyn Nets had a very struggling NBA regular season this year where Durant was sidelined following injuries in the initial days and newly signed Ben Simmons couldn’t contribute to the Nets’ struggling form as he is yet to debut for the franchise. The Nets somehow reached the playoffs but were eliminated at Game 4 on April 26 with their last game ending in 112-116 in favour of the Boston Celtics leading 4-0.
