The Telugu supernatural thriller movie Karthikeya 2 is directed and written by Chandoo Mondeti, know the OTT release date and budget in Telugu and Hindi
It is the follow-up to Mondeti’s critically praised 2014 film Karthikeya, which also stars Nikhil Siddharth in the lead role.
After Karthikeya, Premam, Kirik Party, Savyasachi, and Bloody Mary, Mondeti has now directed six movies. Karthikeya 2 is his sixth movie overall. The sequel was revealed in 2017, and the first round of principal photography started in February 2021. In addition to Europe, India was used for the filming.

Nikhil Siddharth, who portrayed Karthikeya Karthik Kumaraswamy in the first movie, is reprising the role; Anupama Parameswaran played Mugdha, his love interest. Anupam Kher, a seasoned actor from Bollywood, plays Dhanvanthri in the movie.
Also appearing as Karthik’s buddies are Srinivasa Reddy as Sadananda, Harsha Chemudu as Suleman, Adithya Menon as Shantanu, and Praveen and Satya. Karthik’s mother is portrayed by seasoned actress Tulasi in the movie.

The producer of “The Kashmir Files,” Abhishek Agarwal, through his Abhishek Agarwal Arts company, is supporting the movie alongside TG Vishwa Prasad’s People Media Factory. On the technical side, Kaala Bhairava created the music, while Karthik Ghattamneni is in charge of the camera and editing.
KARTHIKEYA 2 OTT RELEASE DATE
On August 13, 2022, the movie received a Telugu original release as well as dubs in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The release date was originally slated for July 22, 2022, but it was moved because to a conflict with Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You.
The film’s post-theatrical OTT rights were sold for a staggering sum to India’s top OTT platform ZEE5. 50 days after its theatrical release, the film will be available for streaming on ZEE5 in the first week of October (5th Oct.) in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu:

Chandoo Mondeti is the writer and director of the 2022 Indian Telugu mystery action-adventure film Karthikeya. The movie, which stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran, and Anupam Kher, is a sequel to Karthikeya from 2014. Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory are the producers. The story follows Dr. Karthikeya as he searches for Lord Krishna’s misplaced anklet.
