2023 Junior World Kabaddi Championship semi-final results, score, winner, & India vs Iran final schedule
Although Iran gained confidence from playing in front of their home-crowd, India emerged victorious in the final of 2023 Junior World Kabaddi Championship by score of 41-32. Going into the half-time break, India were trailing by one-point at 18-19 but their stellar raids in the second-half allowed them to take the lead. Iran were close behind their rivals till the very end but, Indian defense bagged super tackle that allowed the visitors comfortable five-point gap. Ultimately, Iran failed to recover and India clinched the victory to dethrone Iran from their position as the reigning champions.
India has demonstrated attacking power and strong defensive abilities throughout the 2023 Junior World Kabaddi Tournament, which has allowed them to defeat every opponent with relative ease. India participated in five matches during this event and won each one convincingly, including the semifinal victory over Pakistan. Iran will be devastated by their second-place result and eager to exact revenge in their upcoming match. Meanwhile, Pakistan and Kenya crashed out from the tournament at semi-final stage to finish at 3rd/4th place.
