According to the Shueisha schedule, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 225 will be published in Shonen Jump issue 28 on June 12 at 12am JST.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 224 will be published in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump issue 26 on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 12 a.m. JST. As a result, no official confirmation of chapter 225 will be available until the chapter is published. However, in the past, leaks of this nature have always proven to be correct.

On May 24, several reputable leakers informed fans via Discord and Twitter that mangaka Gege Akutami will be taking a week off following the release of chapter 224. This will be Gege Akutami’s first break since the one-week break taken immediately following the publication break on April 30, 2023, due to Golden Week.

Following the publication of chapter 224, Shueisha’s official websites, such as mangaplus, and affiliated web platforms, such as Viz, will notify readers of the issue’s exact digital release time. As of now, the chapter is expected to follow the usual schedule and be digitally available on June 12 at 12 a.m. JST.

Earlier the makers stated that “For some strange reason, Yuji Itadori, despite his insane athleticism would rather just hang out with the Occult Club. So far the manga has dropped 223 chapters and it’s next installment i.e, chapter 224 scheduled for release on May 29. These 208 chapters are divided into 23 tankobon volumes, the last of which will be released on July 4, 2023. Along with Volume 0, the plot is divided into ten completed arcs, with Chapter 223 kicking off the 11th arc, The Shinjuku Showdown Arc (unofficially dubbed).

Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen is all set to premiere on Thursday, July 6, at 11:56 p.m. JST. It will include the “Gojo’s Past” arc as well as a portion of the “Shibuya Incident” arc. Several key visuals, a teaser, and a trailer have been released for the anime. The anime also revealed the new character designs for the second cour of season 2, which will adapt the “Shibuya Incident” arc, during the Mappa Stage 2023 event. Sunghoo Park was replaced as director for the second season by Shota Goshozono.
