Josh Jacobs Injury Update: Will The Running Back Miss Out On Any Games And His Return Date
The Raiders’ running back Josh Jacobs suffered a chest contusion during his team’s win against the Eagles this past weekend. He was having a fabulous game up until that point having run 68 yards and one touchdown before heading back to the locker room before the first half. Jacobs did not return to the pitch after it and it was not clear how he got the injury in the first place.
A day after the match it was revealed by the head coach of the team that Jacobs has suffered a chest contusion but should be fine in time for the next game. Shortly after the coach’s report, Jacobs posted on his Instagram that he is fine and doesn’t have any sort of chest injury. There seems to be massive lapse in communication between the team and the player.
However, Jacobs did participate in the team’s workout on Monday and has not shown any signs of injury since then. It is reported that the team is tracking his progress and are keeping an eye on his chest injury, which according to him does not exist.
Jacobs has publicly objected the report made by the team on his Instagram. Jacobs is one of the most crucial players for the team and miscommunication regarding a players injury will certainly not sit well. Whatever the case may be, fans can expect to see him participate in the team’s next game against the New York Giants this weekend.
