How Long Has The Trial Been Running?

What Is The Intent Of The Trial?

The $50 million lawsuit stems from an opinion post-Heard wrote for the Washington Post in which she described herself as a victim of domestic abuse. Although she did not mention Depp by name, his attorneys claim that it was implied. Heard responded with a $100 million complaint against Depp. Depp has denied any wrongdoing.

Depp, on the other hand, has claimed that Heard abused him at home and testified that his finger was severed in 2015 when Heard “hurled” one bottle at him and then flung another.
Heard claims he did not cause the wound. She said she used violence against Depp solely in self-defence or to defend her younger sister, Whitney Henriquez.
