The strange incident happened around 10 p.m. while Jermani Thompson, 26, was unloading a Frontier Airlines plane that was parked at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. On Tuesday, a spokesperson told WVUE-TV.

According to the station, the horrific incident happened on the “apron,” which is where planes are maintained, loaded, and unloaded. Thompson was rushed to the hospital after the incident, where doctors eventually declared her dead. Frontier subsequently postponed one flight for Wednesday.
