Guwahati Jeevan Kite River Festival 2022 Location, Last Date
The Jeevan Kite River Festival started this Saturday, 12 February at the riverbank in the city of Guwahati. This mega event began with a huge football tournament which was followed by an author’s meet conducted by Wissenmonk. It will take place till 16th February.
It is happening on the banks of Brahmaputra, opposite Fancy Bazaar.
The amazing Jeevan kite River festival in Guwahati is taking place near the bank of the Brahmaputra River and this year it’s the 11th edition of the festival. The festival has been named Sila Noi this year.
Events And Band At Jeevan Kite River Festival Guwahati
The music events were held at Stage B featuring Chinmoy, Lalit, Pranjeet, Snehal, Juhin, Irfan, Arijit, and Rehan. The Scores of people enjoyed kite flying within the clear sky near the riverbank. An art gallery was curated by an Imaginary Canvas and Image Animation Graphic Institute which hosted nearly around 100 paintings, photographs, and sculptures as well.
The main stage increased its grace by the performances of famous artists and bands such as the Shreebhumi, all the participants of India’s Got Talent and India Hip Hop championship including Sahil Rahman, Dhiraj Kalita, Sushmita Deka, and Swastik Shivam were presented.
Achita Rajkumari and Priyanka Phukan appeared by doing a duet song while the instrumental show was performed by Shreebhumi and dance appearances were given by Nishthajita Kalita, Hridoy Prakash Kalita, Jhunuka Institute of the Dance.
The band performance was carried out by the Midnight Seranade which fascinated the spectators on the first day of the festival. The second day was started with Open Street by the ESAF and ‘Pedal for a Change’ which was supported by Guwahati’s Active Mobility Forum which includes the cycling, running, dancing activities along with the painting and a lot more.
Art Competition At Jeevan Kite River Festival Guwahati
At the festival, an art competition was also organized and the Hip Hop Kranti Stage featured MC Dida, Mortal, Ammo Bx, Dev, Jazy, Ad Yung, XMX, Lil Deep, and Kid Kat.
Jeevan Kite River Festival Guwahati Food Stalls, Kid’s Zone, And Artists
The entire Ethnic food stalls and handicrafts zone witnessed a massive crowd. The kid’s zone was full of fun games, face painting. Many of the famous artists are taking part in the festival this time such as the national awardee Tarali Sarma, Rupam Bhuyan, Babu, and internationally acclaimed Mr. Manoj Barua.
