The writer stated on Monday that, “I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
For those who are unfamiliar with the situation, let us tell you, the Veteran tv host, Jay Leno, was rushed to hospital on Sunday, when one of his cars reportedly caught fire and burst into flames.
As per reports, the 72-year-old actor was immediately sent to the Grossman Burn Center for treatment.
As of now, the cause of the fire hasn’t been revealed. The actor was all set to appear in a conference in Las Vegas on Sunday, however, it had to be called off because of the “serious medical emergency.”
Let us remind you, Leno hosted the famous “The Tonight Show,” which was one of the country’s most watched talk shows of its time.
