Sixth in place at the Western Conference Brooklyn Nets have already been suffering because of MVP candidate Kevin Durant and now the team has lost its second main player with just Kyrie Irving left among the big 3. James Harden reportedly suffered a hand strain because of which he was forced to stay out of his side’s match against Golden State Warriors where they suffered 110-106.
He also was not available for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets following the same problem. The Nets are due to face the Phoenix Suns next, coming Wednesday and the availability of the star is not known.

Injury Update of James Harden
According to head coach Steve Nash, Harden has been suffering from hand strain because of which he missed the games against the Warriors suffering the hamstring problem.
ESPN reported that according to Nash, the strain was disclosed following an MRI on Saturday. The player’s right hand had been giving problems for several days the reason he had to go through tests.
As for now, Harden, who currently gives 23.0 points, 10.1 assists and 8.1 rebounds with the averaging 42 per cent of shooting, is resting and it is not sure if he will be playing against the Suns or not.
“I do not know,” said the head coach Nash about his availability for the match. “We will have to see how it settles,” he further said and is optimistic about the player’s return for the game if everything goes right.

The head coach was asked about how long Harden has been suffering from the injury, but Nash stated that the star’s injury could only be realised from Friday’s practice session. Nash had asked Harden when he told the coach about his discomfort and told that he has been feeling the agitation for many days.

Harden was not available against the Nuggets on Wednesday because of a hamstring injury but he was recovered from that. The player is now suffering from a new hand strain injury and is doubtful for the next game.
