For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, the meme surfaced when a China-based NL studio created a Thanos resin statue.
The Studio tried to depict the villain of Marvel Comics in the Jack-O pose. They made the statue as a limited edition while making only 199 pieces which came in 2 sizes i.e, 1/4 scale and 1/6 scale.
What is the Jack-O Pose?
For those who are unaware about the Jack-O pose, let us tell you, it is a pose performed by Jack-O Valentine.
Jack-O Valentine is a character from Guilty Gear. The pose is quite well known for the characters makers around a wide variety such as TV shows, comics and even films.
It shows a character crouched down, resting their arms as the character’s back and legs are spread out behind them. Because of their position generally their behind oftenly sticks up in the air.
Somehow, last summer, the pose found its way onto social media and since then it became a trend as social media users started sharing pictures and videos of the pose among themselves.
Some even went on to try the pose. However, the hilarious thing that happened is seeing Marvel’s villain Thanos in the pose.
