The Meaning Of Jack In The Box Is Discussed By The BTS Army
J-album hope’s title is already a hit, as fans react to how odd J-track hope’s names have always been. “Jack in the box,’ ‘Hope World,’ because one thing about Hobi’s album titles… THEY SLAP!” said one fan. “One thing J-hope always has is a clear vision,” another fan tweeted. Hope World is visually appealing, but as a sound across the album, a concept, or a feeling evoked by the EP as a whole, everything is harmonious, trendy, and uniquely him.”
A third fan speculated on the significance of Jack in The Box, saying, “so j for jack, j for j-hope… He’s the jack because he’s the ‘entertainer…’ So he’s in there… As with Pandora’s box, when hope was the only thing left inside… He’s made it his own since then, and the album delves deeper into how he’s breaking out of it and ‘breaking the mould?'”
“There’s also a discussion on the word Hesiod uses for hope in the myth of Pandora,” another fan added. ‘Expectation’ could also be used. A jack in the box is a surprise that defies all logic. Hope is also the last thing in the jar that is not surrounded by humans. Hoseok is finally free!”
J-songwriting hope’s abilities have enriched the Grammy-nominated music group’s treasure trove of discography, and fans can’t wait to hear J-singular hope’s voice breaking the mould with Jack In The Box.
