The statement given by the father of Harriet Robson, the ex-girlfriend of Mason Greenwood was hardly sensitive towards the plight his daughter was going through
When news breaks up in for your daughter being s*xually and physically assaulted, the first thing bound to spring to your mind is the well being of your daughter and a throbbing hatred towards the man who dared touch her.
However, as Harriet Robson took to Instagram to share video and audio recording along with horrid pictures of Mason Greenwood beating her, her father was more concerned about the ramifications it would have on the two’s relationship.
Father Of Harriet Robson Makes Exasperating Comments After Mason Greenwood Assaults His Daughter
Speaking in an interview about the set of events which had transpired, Robson’s father failed to voice any kind of concern for her, rather talking about how he had ordered Robson to delete the pictures from Instagram along with speaking about his daughter and Greenwood’s romance.
:The first thing we knew about this was at 6am this morning. It is dreadful. I’m just coming to terms with it all.
“As a father you don’t want to know things like that happening to your daughter. The police have been round and she has made a statement to them.
“She has told us her phone has been hacked. We told her to take it down, which she has done but it’s out there now so it is too late.
“She is devastated because she didn’t want it released. We have known him since the under 21s. He has been part of our family for two or three years.
“Their relationship has not been good for the last few months. She is completely devastated by it all.
“They were very much in love and have been together for a while. The police are dealing with it now,” Robson’s father said.
While Harriet might not have found the kind of support she envisaged from her family, the authorities have definitely shown greater action with Greenwood detained on suspicion of rape and assault. He’s also been suspended of his contract by Nike and removed from FIFA 22.
