After months of yearning for his presence, AEW viewers finally saw Punk grace the land of the company as CM Punk vs Darby Allin was confirmed for All Out 2021
Today was arguably the biggest day in the history of AEW. Snagging the services of CM Punk, the company showcased the wrestler to the world as he made his maiden appearance in the ring at AEW Rampage First Dance.
While he was always envisaged to take the competition by aplomb, even the most boisterous of AEW supporters wouldn’t have envisaged the craze CM Punk drew. His entry was something the land of the company had never witnessed till date with a fully packed arena vociferously welcoming Punk into the middle.
The moment has the ability of acting as the catalyst of a paradigm shift in the land of wrestling in USA with CM Punk set to draw in hoards to AEW. Back on the big stage, CM Punk’s debut showdown is also confirmed now with him set to fight Darby Allin in the forthcoming AEW All Out 2021 event.

Speaking about the matchup which was revealed during Punk’s debut itself, Darby Allin kept things short but managed to emote the importance of the fight in his career. Talking about how the AEW had given him everything in life, Allin said it would be a behemoth honour to be locking heads with Punk soon.

Whilst the predictions are for Punk to wipe the floor with Allin when the two take on each other on September, its a fight which is bound to elevate Allin’s status and see him become a known face.
