Since its inauguration in October 2014, the Indian Super League has been the sole reason for the vital growth of Indian Football. This league co-exists along with I-League as the highest level in the country’s footballing system.

It is organized by All India Federation Association and their commercial associates Football Sports Development. Wherein each season of this league usually runs from November to March, as of April 2021, ISL currently has 11 clubs participating.

Whereas Nita Ambani is the ISL’s Chairperson.

The team who won the Indian Super League 2020-21 season made $1.01 million. There was be no share for the ISL team from ticket price as matches were held behind close doors, the runner-up team will earn a $540k share from $2.5 million total prize money.
