During his college years, Rodgers attended UMass and joined the Independent FBS squad in 2016. Rodgers was a dynamic playmaker at the cornerback position and was a four-year starter at UMass. He completed a total of 11 multiple interceptions in his four seasons and also scored a defensive touchdown in each of his final three years.
