If a woman is pregnant it’s her business, how/if she intends to share about it. Almost every woman has experienced turning down a drink and been asked, “oh, do you have newwwwss?” If you’re married or seriously involved, you’ve almost likely been asked when you plan to have children (as though such a thing is always predictable).
And if you’ve ever had weight gain or bloating, you’ve definitely had questions or even congratulations wishes (do people really think pregnancy is the only thing that can transform a woman’s body?). We’ve arrived in 2022, and “are you pregnant?” is still a question we’re asked.
This weird cultural phenomenon gives people the sense that the state of a woman’s uterus is their concern. And this is not something that female celebrities can escape as well. It is outrageously sad to know that no amount of fame and achievements can change expectations from a woman.
Why Do Fans Believe Zendaya Is Pregnant?
Fans have fallen for a foolish joke, and Twitter is presently inundated with tweets stating Zendaya is pregnant. Rumours about Zendaya allegedly having a kid began with TikToks displaying a phoney Instagram story that seemed to be published from the actress’ official profile.
The phoney posts feature a sonogram of an unborn child with remarks suggesting they were posted by the couple. However, at the end of each of these videos, footage of Kris Jenner dancing to Lady Marmalade’s song appears, merely to remind you that you’ve been “Krissed.”
Tom Holland And His Friend Are Going Good
Not only has Zendaya been pulled into this, but Tom has also been the focus of a slew of memes as followers mock his reaction to his lady’s fake pregnancy. However, the pair is still going strong despite the numerous myths that circulate on the internet. After keeping their relationship a secret for so long, the pair is now not afraid to show their love and affection for one another.
On June 1, she even wished her lover a happy birthday by uploading a lovely photo of the two of them on Instagram with the caption: “Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest.”
Fans React To Fraudulent Hoax
Most fans appear to have come to assume Zendaya is pregnant solely based on the Twitter trend, as there is no official record to verify it. Needless to say, the Spiderman star’s phoney pregnancy is all that users are concerned about right now. “The streets are reporting Zendaya is pregnant,” one user remarked. I’m still not over Rihanna having a baby.”
Another user posted, “Plot twist: Zendaya gets pregnant in season 2 of Euphoria.” “If Zendaya is pregnant, then I’m glad for her,” one admirer who seemed to have believed the story commented.
As much as we as a society welcome open discussions about things like miscarriage and infertility, and as badly as we need to normalize the choice to put off parenthood (or say no to it altogether), we must equally recognise that fertility is a very personal matter. However, pregnancy speculation is linked to more than simply reproductive issues; general health and body changes may also be factors.
