A recent video that emerged depicting Mr Beast’s arrest has been causing rage on social media, leading many to question whether it was an actual arrest or an elaborate prank. The video of the incident has gotten over 4.3 million views. So, let’s find out what actually happened:

The reality behind Mr Beast’s arrest

Mr Beast recently pulled the prank on Airrack, popularly known as Eric Decker, a content developer well-known for his challenge and prank films, that set the whole thing off. Instigating a complex scheme of retaliation, Airrack took advantage of Mr Beast’s earlier trick on him.

The original idea was for Mr Beast to be “arrested” after meeting Elon Musk, for whom he volunteered to be CEO of Twitter, in cooperation with the New York Police Department (NYPD). After the conference was canceled, the practical joke was switched to Mr Beast’s home state of North Carolina. Adjustments were made, involving the participation of a different set of police officers.

The prank unfolds when the cops initially stop Mr Beast’s Tesla for having tinted windows, but then soon escalate the situation by saying that a warrant for his arrest has been issued. He was then arrested, forced to pose for mug shots, and imprisoned in a cell without food.

During this ordeal, Mr Beast was allowed a single phone call, with Airrack on the other end of the line. Mr Beast’s skepticism started to fade as they engaged in a discourse that included legal topics.

The pivotal moment came when Airrack gave him the directive to watch one of the police officer’s body cameras and declare, “I just got ‘got’ on Get Got,” making a joke about Airrack’s own prank program.

To Mr Beast’s surprise, he had genuinely fallen victim to the prank, initially believing it to be genuine due to the extensive resources seemingly involved.
