The Overwatch 2 beta allows cross-platform multiplayer across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC thanks to crossplay.
The OW2 FAQ is where you may find this on the opt-in page. According to the statement, the demo’s primary objective is to evaluate Blizzard’s cross-platform capabilities as they expand their server testing.
All systems, including the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC, will support crossplay. When the additional free access PvP debuts on October 4th, the game will also be accessible on the Nintendo Switch in addition to these systems.

The sequel of OW1, which is 6v6 instead of 6v6, is 5v5. As this update is somewhat big, you can experience it for yourself in the demo.
The only way to ensure entrance and participation in the Overwatch 2 beta is to spend £34.9 on a Watchpoint Pack.
On PSN, Microsoft, and PC via battle.net, the cost is the same. For the full release of OW2, also includes the following in addition to demo access:
- Space Raider Soldier 76 (Legendary Skin)
- Space Raider Cassidy (Legendary Skin)
- 2,000 in-game credits
- Exclusive Player Icon
You will also receive OW1’s Legendary edition as a prize. if you are unwilling to purchase the Watchpoint pack.
By opting in, you can attempt to receive an invitation. For PS4 and PS5, choose either PlayStation Americas, Europe, Japan, and Asia (you must choose your correct area), and for Xbox One and Series X/S, choose Xbox. There is also a PC available.
It’s not assured that you’ll get an invite right away, but Blizzard promises more codes will start to arrive on July 5.
