The open beta for Dragon Ball The Breakers is ready to begin, and while the Dead By Daylight-like multiplayer game is great fun, some fans are worried about its lack of cross-platform and cross-play functionality
In August, the game had closed betas, and Dragon Ball fans appeared to genuinely love the multiplayer action. The gameplay of Bandai Namco’s game is seemingly similar to that of Dead By Daylight because it too features survivors banding together to evade killers known as Raiders.
You can participate in the open beta tomorrow, but its cross-platform multiplayer nature might leave you unimpressed.

Dragon Ball The Breakers does not enable cross-platform multiplayer between PlayStation, Xbox, and PC because it is not crossplay.

Fans are worried because Bandai Namco has no plans to provide cross-platform gameplay. The inability to play with friends on other systems has prompted fans to urge for the creation of petitions on Twitter, and they worry that this would cause the game to ‘die’ rapidly.
This apprehension is also brought on by the fact that the game costs £15.99 and is not available for free (via PSN store). Reddit has lively discussions concerning the lack of crossplay.
Because it’s Dragon Ball, some fans insist that the game won’t last long while others are convinced that it won’t. Although there are no plans to add the function as of this writing, it won’t be accessible on October 14th. Hopefully, it will be added after launch.
