The highly anticipated Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing competitor, Disney Speedstorm, is finally set to arrive very soon, check out if the game will release as free to play and the early access release date
Although the early access format of the game may not be free to play, fans can be more optimistic for the full release.

The full game is set to release later this year or in 2024, but interested fans who can’t wait can purchase an early access Founder’s Pack.
Disney Speedstorm
Disney Speedstorm will be available to players across all platforms – PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Players will get the chance to play as some of their favourite Disney characters with icons including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, to live-action heroes such as Jack Sparrow.
Will Disney Speedstorm be free to play
Much to the delight of fans, Disney Speedstorm will be free to play following its full release. However, for fans who wish to gain early access, they will need to pay a certain amount.
According to the early access FAQ, the full release will happen in late 2023 or around the beginning of 2024. However, this is subject to change depending on feedback.
The game developers also revealed why they chose to enter EA. The developers stated that they chose EA, since the game needs more time in the oven ‘to deliver a polished competitive racing game our team will be proud of’. Releasing the game using an EA format, helps the developers continue to build a better product while listening to feedback from fans.
