2023 International Darts Open: Michael van Gerwen vs Gerwyn Price final results, score, & match summary
On Sunday, Price got things started with a thrilling last-leg victory over Mike De Decker of Belgium, averaging over 106 to win in a match that featured 13 maximums. The 38-year-old kept up his momentum with a valiant win over third-seed Rob Cross before defeating Dirk van Duijvenbode in the semifinal stage by averaging over 107. With this win Price qualified for the championship match, where he was scheduled to play against Michael van Gerwen.
Price gained an early advantage in thrilling fashion, turning a tops-tops 134 finish into a break throw. After punishing a slew of botched doubles from a careless Van Gerwen, Price grabbed a 4-1 lead. Thanks to his superb 76 combination with a 12-dart break, Price extended his lead to 6-1 and although Gerwen showed his tenacity to make it 6-3, Price kept his cool to finish the match 8-4 before lifting his eighth European Tour title.

2023 International Darts Open: prize money pool distribution
The prize pool for the 2023 International Darts Open is expected to total $175,000.
