2023 Indonesia Masters Open women’s singles An Se-young vs Carolina Marin final schedule, date, venue, & semi-final results
On Saturday, Carolina Marin advanced to the final of the 2023 Indonesia Masters, her first final since October. Despite having to overcome deficits in both games, the Rio 2016 Olympic badminton champion defeated Han Yue of the People’s Republic of China in 41 minutes, winning 21-15, 21-14. In the final, Marin is scheduled to face-off against the third-seed youngster An Se-young.
In the other semi-final on Saturday, An defeated Chinese shuttler Wang Zhiyi by score of 21-9, 10-21, 21-16 after an intense contest that went to the decider. Following her win, An has qualified for her third championship match in as many weeks and is on course to win her second title of the 2023 BWF World Tour. According to bookmakers, it is highly likely that An will emerge victorious in the final considering her red-hot form.

Carolina Marin, a past world champion, has a fantastic potential to move up in the BWF World Rankings after making it to the tournament’s final. 2023 Indonesia Masters Open: prize money distribution
Each singles category winner will receive $31,500 from the $420,000 total prize pool because it is a BWF Super 500 competition. A prize of $15,960 will go to the tournament’s runner-up, and $1,470 will be awarded to each second-round qualifier.
