The finale of IBD vs SD which was held on Sunday, 16 February, 2025 saw dancer Tejas Verma emerge as the winner of the show with him receiving a trophy. He wasn’t given any prize money for winning the show.
Age 16 dancer Tejas who was born on February 16, 2009 is an Indian dancer, entertainer, performer, artist, YouTube star, online content creator, and social media personality who initially gained fame for being a contestant in the dance reality show Super Dancer 3, where he won first runner-up.
Meanwhile, the commercial of India’s Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer released by Sony TV included special guests Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar, who were promoting their film Mere Husband Ki Biwi had gone viral previously. The directors had been hinting at interesting moments from upcoming episodes.
Following their rumoured breakup, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor first appeared together on the show India’s Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer. For those who don’t know, Arjun Kapoor came to promote his upcoming movie, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, starring Bhumi Pednekar, while Malaika is a judge on the dancing reality program.
The competitors of India’s Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer asked judge Malaika Arora to dance with them on stage while performing her hit songs, such as Munni Badnaam and Chaiyya Chaiyya. The crowd, Arjun, Bhumi, and special judge Mithun Chakraborty support Malaika as she grooved to her chart-topping songs.
After the energetic performance, a competitor asked Arjun Kapoor what he thought of Malaika’s dancing.
In a witty response, Arjun Kapoor says, “Meri bolti band ho chuki hai saalon se, mai abhi bhi chup rehna chahta hoon (laughs).” (My mouth has been shut for years; I prefer staying quiet now too.)
He then praised Malaika Arora by saying, “I got to hear all my favourite songs, which reflect the incredible career and journey she has had.
