The Indian Super League (ISL) 2024 is all set to kick off it’s playoffs this month and fans ate curious with teams have qualified, the fixtures and more. The dates of the tournament were finally announced this week.
The top two teams at the conclusion of the league will go straight to the semi-finals according to the ISL’s structure for the season finale. A single-leg playoff will pit the third through sixth-placed teams against each other.

While the teams in fourth and fifth place will face off, the third-place team will take on the sixth-place club.
Following a close struggle for the title, Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mumbai City FC are tied for first place in the ISL 2023–24 standings. During a 4-1 victory over East Bengal FC on Wednesday at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, Punjab FC eliminated the Red & Gold Brigade.
Chennaiyin FC was able to secure a spot in the playoffs as the sixth and final team, owing to the outcome. The Punjab based franchise were already eliminated from the running for a top-six spot.
Bengaluru FC’s defeat to East Bengal FC had eliminated them from the playoffs. Mumbai City and Mohun Bagan are in a fight for the League Shield, with the former leading by two points separating them. While the competition gets more intense now, Here is all you need to know about the playoffs.

Six teams have qualified for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024 Playoffs. The qualified teams are:

- Mohun Bagan
- Odisha FC
- FC Goa
- Kerala Blasters
- FC Goa
When and where will the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024 Playoffs will be held?
The Indian Super League (ISL) 2024 playoffs will kick off from April 19th while the Championship match will be held on May 4. The venue will be announced later. Check out the Playoffs schedule below:

- Playoff 2: 4th-placed Team vs 5th-placed Team
